How to Measure for Your Door
Every Six Bros Crafts door can be made to your exact opening. Take these measurements and send them to us with your order or quotation request.
Step by step
- Measure the width of the opening at the top, middle and bottom. Note the smallest number.
- Measure the height on the left, centre and right. Note the smallest number.
- Measure the thickness of the wall or frame where the door will sit.
- Decide which way the door should swing, and whether you want a single door or a double door.
- Take a clear photo of the full opening and send it with the numbers.
Door sizes
Our standard door heights are 84 in (7 ft) and 96 in (8 ft). Widths are in inches. Any other size can be made on request.

Our most popular sizes are 32 in x 96 in and 34 in x 96 in. For main doors, the sizes most often used are 72 in x 96 in and 72 in x 84 in.
